Economic Stainless Steel Brew Pot
I ordered my brew pot as part of four components that would become my most recent home brew setup in anticipation for Father’s day. For many months I have been in the process of planning my upgrade from the basic brewing kit into at least an intermediate kit, and a minimum of 32 quarts, or 8 gallons was necessary to handle the five gallon batches I was planning to brew.
Moreover, I needed to purchase the brew pot entirely with money I earned online to maintain peace and happiness with my wife at home. This gave me quite a bit of time to research all my components and aggressively shop for the best price on an economic brew kettle. I ultimately decided on the 32 Quart Economy Stainless Kettle with Bazooka Screen because of the amazing price, and because it came with the bazooka screen that would have cost more to purchase as a separate component, and would have further added to the shipping costs.
I had a few requirements for considering a good brew kettle. First, it needed to be economical. Just because the money came from online income didn’t mean I could spend frivolously. I had to budget in all my other components as well, and this needed to be a high quality piece of equipment while being entirely affordable. Next, it had to have enough capacity to handle my five gallon batches with room for boil overs, even if I wanted to brew anything imperial. I also had to have a Fahrenheit thermometer, a valve to easily transfer my wort into my fermenter, and a screen. This economic stainless steel brew pot met all my demands!!
I ordered the brew kettle and other supplies on June 3rd to have enough time to ensure delivery of all my items in time for my Father’s day brewing event. I also needed to purchase the components for my home made brewing cabinet and have it built in time.
Though it was the last package to arrive, it came on the Tuesday of the weekend that I wanted to brew, on June 12th and arrived in the same shipment as my CASCADIAN BLACK INDIA PALE ALE beer recipe kit.
The brew pot looked super shiny and very handsome. But I was extremely disappointed when the bazooka screen was missing. I immediately called the number on the invoice, gave them my order number, and they promised to have it sent to me first class. The next day I put the tracking number on the US Postal web site and was assured of its arrival on June 15th. This puts me well on track to start my brewing event either on the 16th or the 17th!
After the photography event, I placed my brand new stainless steel brew pot in my home brew cabinet in the garage as I patiently awaited the arrival of the bazooka screen and the magic day of the brewing event!
